DMA’s Heather Martin co-organized and hosted an event for CREW Chicago that focused on lifestyle hospitality development trends in the Chicago hotel market. The one-on-one conversation featured Chicago’s leading hotel developer, John Rutledge, and Sophie Bidek, a partner with Hartshorne Plunkard Architecture (HPA). Rutledge is CEO of Oxford Capital Group, LLC and Oxford Hotels & Resorts, LLC.

The talk included details on the recently opened Hotel Essex and Essex on the Park luxury apartment building, developed by Oxford with HPA as architect. CREW Chicago works to positively impact the commercial real estate industry by advancing the power and success of women.
