New Spa Makes a Splash

Visitors to the new Rivers Casino & Resort in Schenectady, New York can now indulge in a variety of beauty and relaxation services at Splash Spa, offering massages, facials, manicures, and more. Local officials gathered to celebrate the spa’s official opening, about one month after Rivers Casino opened its doors to guests. Spa visitors were treated to free champagne and mini-massages. The new spa was a late addition to the casino’s offerings. DMA expedited its design and construction with Norwood LeChase’s construction team. The spa complements the entertainment and dining options available at Rivers, including some 1,150 slots and 67 gaming tables. DMA worked onsite in Schenectady throughout the casino’s construction and continues to be involved with work on an attached 165-room hotel, scheduled to open in the summer of 2017.
