When Rivers Casino opened in Pittsburgh in August 2009, the development not only brought new gaming and entertainment options to the area, it also created a new recreational destination: Rivers Casino Riverfront Park. In April 2012, the Pennsylvania/Delaware Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects recognized the park with an Honor Award in the General Design category. The park's award-winning features include a public amphitheater, a river trail, an array of native plantings, and a comprehensive stormwater management system. Strada served as the landscape architect.

Rivers Casino – Pittsburgh sits on a former brownfield site along the Ohio River and has become a key piece of the city's riverfront renewal initiative. DMA helped new investors restart the once-stalled project and oversaw development, project accounting, and construction work through a successful grand opening.
