Des Plaines OKs 57 signs for coming casino

With approval of a special sign ordinance by the Des Plaines City Council, Midwest Gaming continues to move forward with plans for a Des Plaines casino. Development Management Associates is serving as the project manager on behalf of Midwest Gaming. Mike Levin of DMA notes in this article that signage — large-scale LED monitors and electronic murals — will contribute to a fun and entertaining environment for the project, featuring 45,000 square feet of gaming space and an additional 30,000 square feet for restaurants and bars on a 20-acre site. The project is expected to open in fall 2011.
