In an article documenting a growing preference among condo buyers for sizable units, DMA's Charles Porter discusses the evidence at 900 N. Michigan Avenue. Working on behalf of JMB Realty in 2007 and 2008, DMA managed the adaptive reuse of eight floors of office space into 47 luxury condominiums, The Residences at 900. The units range from 1,900 to 4,800 square feet, sized to suit buyer demands for more storage, larger master bedrooms, eat-in kitchens, dining rooms, family rooms, and dens. Condos developed in the same building in 1990 offered 1,470 to 2,700 square feet.
