Riverwalk wins license, expects October opening

Vicksburg, Mississippi's daily newspaper reports that the Riverwalk Casino and Hotel is on track to open ahead of schedule and notes that parent company Magnolia Hill, LLC is the first company to receive a gaming license for a Vicksburg casino since the early 1990s. Helping to facilitate rapid progress on the Riverwalk project, Development Management Associates LLC is providing development consulting services to Magnolia Hill. The Mississippi Gaming Commission approved the gaming license for Riverwalk July 17.
